It is finally time to share my little labor of love that took me a little over one week to complete. So a bit of the back story on this project, my two daughters Mckenna + Presley had started growing out of their current room theme, it was pretty childish and everyone agreed it needed an update. I knew I had a small budget to work with here so I set out to do this project for under 100 dollars and that I did !
Nightstand / / This was inherited when I married my husband, when we bought our new home we purchased a new bedroom set and this little gem sat in the garage for almost two years, it was very rough and an awful wood grain color. I primed and painted this nightstand and gave it a whole new look complete with new hardware from Home Depot. Total Cost : 23.00 | including supplies
Lamp / / This lamp was a 5 dollar find at Goodwill but it didn't look like this until I primed, painted, spray painted and bought a new lampshade. This was probably the most time consuming project of the bunch but definitely completes the overall look. Total Cost : 16.00 | including supplies
Rotary Phone / / Oh how I love this adorable rotary phone and my girls love playing with this piece. I was so lucky to find this at a local garage sale in Austin, Tx for a whopping 10 dollars. Total Cost : 10.00
Rug / / This modern rug ties the whole look together, don't you think? This rug was purchased at my local Ross store for only 9.99 and its a nice size too (5x7) Total Cost : 9.99
Piggy Bank / / What little girls room is complete without a piggy bank ? I scored this little guy for 1.99 at Goodwill. Total Cost : 1.99
Print / / I love this illustration of Frida Kahlo. This print was designed and created by Sketch Inc. found on etsy. Total Cost : 18.00 | including frame found during a closeout sale at Burlington.
Total Cost for nightstand project / / / $ 7 8 . 9 8
